I would ask for a full hand-written report on why he thinks he deserves that. Even then i probably wouldn't give it to him. Sounds like he really hurt you in the past.

@ luckystar: I am making more now but really financially struggling because of my "psychic whore" phase of life ;) so I think that can happen ;)
