When looking for a sign or validation, I usually ask the angels to let me see a specific number within 30 minutes or whatever time I ask for, and I usually pick 1 that you do not a combinaton of often, and sure enough when I am intuned with my angel they give me validation!

It does work!

Hi Timeheals....not crazy at all! I believe our loved ones try to get our attention to let us know they are around us, wheather through songs, or whatever it takes..... Once they know we are receptive they will give us signs they are around.

I'm very curious about something here. I'm curious to know how you know the difference between a sign and what you've manifested in?

The reason I ask is regarding Miracle's posting. She asked for a sign and told the universe to show her monkeys.

Miracle: how do you know that is a sign vs. you visualizing something and it coming to fruition?

The reason I bring this up is because I specifically asked the universe for a sign if my ex is supposed to be in my life. I wanted my guides/God/universe to give me a very clear sign that he should be. On Saturday night I was out on a date and low and behold, here comes my ex walking towards us. We are sort of talking right now just over text. To me, that was a very clear sign that he should be in my life. I mean seriously! Could you get any clearer than that? Except that all that happened was he walked by, neither one of us said hello and ruined my date , truth be told. So what the hell? And for the three hours after I saw him I couldn't get him out of my head. Just put such a damper on my date with this new person

Granted, I'm slightly glad it did happen, as I thought I received my validation. I won't go out with the new guy again as I felt he was slightly pushy and I can't stand it when a guy gets too physical, especially on a first date. But it almost felt like my ex and seeing him randomly was more of a sign to walk away from this guy vs. yes he should be in my life.

So can someone share their opinion of what happened to me? How can you really tell whether it's a sign from the universe that you are going in the right direction vs. me accidentally manifesting seeing my ex?

Here is something about manifesting I ran across.  Now, we know that our thoughts are energy, and that energy then translates into physical form. I don't know who wrote this, but here it is:

Conduct yourself just as you would, if you were already in possession of the thing which you are demanding, when you call upon your subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind will transmute into its physical equivalent, by the most direct and practical media available, any order which is given to it in a state of BELIEF, or FAITH that the order will be carried out.

Ok, I gotta a good story! This one is mostly for TimeHeals as her incredible positive belief in manifesting is truly starting to rub off on me!

My pvr, which cost me $450- a couple years ago when they first came out has been glitching up some of my tv stations in HD. This completely sucks for me as I have certain channels that I pay for and they aren't working! Now, a new one was only going to run me back a couple hundred, but right now I really don't want to spend my money on a new one.

When I got back from from cancun is when I first noticed the channels being all glitchy. What a piss off! Long story short, I tossed it out to the universe to please either fix my pvr or have someone give me one, I don't want to buy a new one!

I took today off and had this lovely cable guy come over today. He tested everything and said it looks like the stations are fine, you need a new box. And asked me when my warranty was up. Uh, dude, I dunno? I bought the thing in 2009 sometime. I looked him and just went holy shit, now I gotta get a new box or rent one from you guys.

So since I made him giggle the whole time he was here this afternoon, he runs down and grabs a refurbished Motorola pvr, same make and model as mine with a new controller. I though he was just going to test it and he goes, no I'm giving it to ya as your warranty was only up a couple months ago, you are a horrible customer and I'm allowed to give you this as a PR thing. We laughed about the horrible customer thing, as we all know, I'm kinda silly and this of course transfers into my real life.

So there you go @Time and fellow manifesters! Just another example of how this shit works! Lol!
