Why do we dismiss the "negative outcome" predictions
« on: March 14, 2017, 01:46:18 PM »
Hi... It is obvious I have called too many psychics.... Lol.  However my point in this topic, is yes, we have all gotten a negative prediction or outcome so to speak, at least once or twice regarding the current poi as they're called now....my question is, even to myself is why not let it go at that?  Why jot take that as the "right" reader????

I am going out on a limb here and divulging more than I ever have but guy number 1 that I called about...never ever did I get a negative...8 months of calling.  They all picked up so much that truly was specific. He married the other girl.

Guy two... Got two negative outcomes....and looking back, obviously they were correct... They really said thing that were on point with the situation. However...I had 20 others that said different and picked up details that were crazy!!!! Alas, nothing they ever said came to pass....

Guy three.  (Yeah, I still called...an addict is an addict) got one negative out of maybe 10 positive that yes again, picked up on crazy shit.  Why would I not believe the majority? Once again....the negative was correct.

Guy four...and God help me, my last that I will ever call another psychic for...ok...so yep, quite a few positives...but nothing has happened yet...timelines have come and gone for most...I fell off the wago. Last weekend after just over three months without calling, and called two...totally negative as to the outcome. And more importantly picked things up as they are.  Right now. Yeah even the positive ones have too though.  So my point is....why when you hear a negative, do you all (including myself) dismiss it?  Looking back, as I have been a member here for quite some time, nothing of more than little shit happens for anyone, never a positive outcome (ie, you'll get back together, married, blah blah blah) has happened for hundreds, and I mean hundreds of posters here. Yeah, a text, a date, or four....but outcome? Nope....read back people....

I think we should start celebrating the readers who say a negative.  And yes, like all of them, they might not be correct, but I would bet my bottom dollar that they're more correct than the reader that blows sunshine up your ass at how many dollars a minute...

If they pick up on the here an now, give them credit for having the balls so few of them lack for being honest.  Again....no reader is even near 100%.

Just my take.

Simply because we want to get what we want, but ultimately, because we don't know whether they are right or not until it plays out in real life.

Ignoring the negative keeps hope alive. Back when I was a "newbee" to readings, my thought was "well, if 20 are telling me positive things, and one are two are negative, then the odds are with the majority". NOT!

Listen to the readers who are risking their ratings and their business to tell you what is quiet possibly the truth! Don't dismiss the reading because it wasn't what you wanted to hear - it is most likely what you need to hear.

For me it's a vicious circle-
I get positive readings -- they sound too good to be true -- so I keep getting more to get reassurance -- then comes that one reading which gives me negative outcome -- I flip out, panic -- call more readers to listen something positive and make sure that negative one was wrong -- then again more outrageous positive outcomes --toooooo good to be true and so on and so forth!!

However, I will admit that readings with Negative Outcomes have been like therapy for me! Slowly it has started hurting less, and my questions have changed from 'If my POI will come back' to ' Do you see any changes in my love life'.. I am coming to accept that he may not come back and maybe it's for our higher good.. because if I have asked for something for so long and it's still not in my life, then there must be a reason behind it, which maybe i can't see now but eventually will..

It hurts a lot less now when a reader says that your POI is with someone else, or there is block and he may not come back or he is not the one..  (if I have few extra minutes then after asking about my love life in general, I still sometimes ask about my POI, not in a coming back sense but if we will reconnect as even friends, because I feel I have lost a good friend too)

I have gotten few negative outcomes, and many of them have said he has a block, someone from his past, a female energy around him, busy at work, not good for me, not a long term, etc etc... and each time I feel a change within, I have become much more accepting/resilient.. first or second time someone told me that POI will never come back, I flipped out, cried for hours, dismissed it and moved on to another reader and even after getting another positive 15-20 readings I kept calling, not sure why.. I guess only to hear that he has someone else in his life.. I guess hearing that from someone who can 'see things and read people' helped me believe it more, accept that he may never come back and it's okay, I will be okay..if he is dating someone else or has started liking someone else then there is nothing I can do..so I am at a better place now emotionally (at least I would like to believe so)..

I never had a negative outcome but I did have one reader say he would not re-connect in December or January. She was correct but I still called away.

For me I just detested hearing "no" instead of "yes"

There are some negatives that I have dismissed and wouldn't read with again even if the negative outcome was true because the psychic did not pick up on any accurate info, or asked a million questions, and I can tell they are simply guessing

It's a difficult situation for me. The negative psychics (i've had quite a few) told me to move on/no reconciliation because he is with someone new or lacks feelings. Okay granted my POI being with someone else is hardly unbelievable BUT.... the reader isn't accurate with other details. Also nearly every psychic that is negative asks when was the last time I spoke to my ex which has been 6 months now. I feel like that long gap between us not communicating works in their favour to detail a negative outcome. I know my ex struggles with emotions and being overt with how he feels among other things but these psychic picked on the opposite which makes me wary.

The positive ones, have been good with details, why we split up, his own feeling/characteristic, things we spoke about without me giving much detail so I'm more inclined to believe this because it's more of an accurate depiction of how things were. They said communication will come but not for now.

I would say go with the psychics who give you accurate details. I've had negative readings from psychics and they weren't true. The positive ones or the I would say the ones that described what was going on accurately, I always chose to go with them. They usually give more detail but the negative readings just tell you out front: no, it's done. Or whatever. I don't believe that.

Thanks! Yes, I have 3 go to psychics so I just trust what they say more. Going on a binge last month was the worse thing I did, just caused sooooo much confusion but I'm taking a break from readings and just focusing on myself while letting things unfold.

Going on a binge can cause a lot of confusion, I've been there. It's good to stick to a few psychics you trust, and not bring others into the mix because then it can get really crazy.

weird how so many people calling about their POI finds out that the POI chooses someone else and their relationship progresses super fast lol  i feel like calling psychics is a curse and the fear that propels us to call them is the same energy that manifests a negative outcome.  the people who dont care and move on with their life, they end up with whomever they desire in the end. but if you are super nervous... it pushes the person away from my experience.  sucks because it is so addictive calling them.

people can sense when you are desperate and putting more energy into them than they are putting into you  ......

the original poster's story is a lot like mine... the same poi that the psychics say is not ready for commitment, ends up marrying someone else soon after lol.... someone that they have to chase or someone who comes off as not giving a F.

absolutely! Readers who are honest enough to tell you exactly what they are shown with no fairytale spin on it are not what's most common. Users rate low & don't return for readings telling them what they don't want to hear. Psychics will put a positive spin to please you and keep you coming back and to protect their ratings.
