I would like to schedule my first reading with Yona. Is there any advice anyone can give about getting a general reading? Or is it recommended that I have specific questions ready? How long is the wait to have the reading? I went to her site but it doesn’t show that you can pick a date.

You have to buy the reading first and then she will email you with the first available date and times she has. According to her website there is a 6-7 week waiting period right now. You can choose either a 30 min read or 1 hr, it is recommended to do 1 hr for your first reading with her and generally advised not to ask any questions (you can at the very end). She will hit on all areas of your life but it may lean career heavy or relationship heavy depending on what her cards give. On the time of your scheduled reading she will call you via Skype and it highly recommended to either record or take really detailed notes during your reading. Enjoy!

Yona had actually told me to ask questions during the reading, it seems we may all be possibly getting different rules so I’d say to double check with her at the beginning of the reading.

Not asking questions aren't Yona rules it's just the general advice and opinion of people who've read with Yona for some time. But you can do whatever you want. Cheers!

I read with her for the first time in the beginning of Nov, and she said she can talk a lot and welcomed interruptions for questions, but also said saying too much can hinder the reading. I chose to just say yes or no when she asked if things surprised me.

"Psychics card as your shadow card, that’s interesting. (What does that mean?) It’s the high priestess. Psychics card, shadow, it’s something that it’s in the background that applies to more than one situation." <-This is an "intuitive" card. When you think about what a psychic is - they use a certain level of intuition to connect. This is the theme of your reading - which probably meant that you would be using your intuition for those events that were predicted at that time



"And your shadow card is knight of pentacles, a dark-eyed man...a shadow card is someone featured in more than one prediction, but I don’t know what yet. Not necessarily romantic. But it’s someone you know already."

The "Shadow Card" will always appear in everyone's reading.

The card can be any card she pulls for each reading she gives.
This card should apply to all parts of the reading.

The Opening card - is usually the 3rd card she pulls (1st card shadow card, 2nd card crossing card, 3rd card Opening card) - she calls this group the "Opening Cards" before the "Predictive Cards"

Usually she will say the theme of the reading is based on these group of cards - usually the Opening Card itself (I note them like chapters in a book ).

Some of my themes were:

"Love & Money" "Reality Checks" "Organized being Efficient"

(Of course I loved the Love and Money one lol)

What does it mean " shadow card" in the opening cards with Yona? I am confused with the meanings of shadow card, card at the heart of the reading, etc

She told me come back after 6 months when reading unfold orelse could be confusing and nothing may not show. So maybe you wanna wait a bit?

I’m contemplating that, someone else had said it could be as early as three months, so maybe I’ll just go with another reader for now to be safe. Thanks for letting me know!

I received an update from Yona stating “ It is usually best to have a gap of about 3 months between readings.” but I think appleeyes advice to wait 6 months is best for anyone that was also interested.

I was just thinking how the Fool was my shadow card...could definitely refer to my hiking accident/breaking my ankle, and then all the new beginnings I have coming up. Huh.

Wouldnt the tower point to an accident? Yona only mentioned the fool in my readings when she was sure a prediction would happen

I need to listen again and see if she mentioned the tower card and which others in particular.

My most recent Yona reading is coming in hot. The opening cards have been playing out and it's only been 4 weeks since the reading. She did see it being short term and quicker than my cards usually are, and even said opening cards are 4-6 weeks instead of her standard 6-8 weeks. So this reading so far she has been completely on the mark with timing. Unfortunately for me, my first prediction from the first layout was the 10 of wands, I'm waiting for something - it can be multiple things in my life right now. I just hate when the first prediction in the first layout is not an exciting one! Those usually always happen the soonest for me.

Agreed. Her 2nd reading for me (I’ve had 2 paid & a free short top up) was lightening fast. Fast to the point several people I feel accused me of lying until I sent them the notes I had taken. My things, of course negative, were lightening speed. I want to read with Yona again so badly but I need to wait till I start looking at property. That’s the time to reconnect with her as she stated. Hope something good happens soon for you!

Very weird. Yona does not read about health, ever. She does say that herself.
And did she tell you who the guy was? How long did the prediction take to happen?

She gave me a health prediction about someone. She also said she doesn't usually get them but it had to be relevant and important to my reading. But she has only knowingly done it once. The other time she didn't know she was predicting someone's death ( or she didn't tell me if she knew it or not).

I've been on this forum for over a decade. She has given health related predictions before which has been noted on this forum and the other forum that was deleted a few years ago.

So no, it's "NOT very weird"  you just haven't experienced it.

Yea mine was a parent's death. They had been sick for a while but seemed to be a making a recovery. But after my reading with her, I knew they wouldn't be around for long, as much as i tried to make her words fit with some other things going on in my life.

The health observation she made for my "romantic interest" at the time was more to explain what was going on with him, and why he behaved in certain ways.
