Title: Mickey Lee and “Demons”
Post by: Dawnlegacy on January 07, 2026, 09:04:51 PM
Hello guys
Not sure if anyone has heard the story of big brother star who unfortunately has recently passed at the young age of 35. The part about her story that has sparked debate is that apparently she got a palm reading from another cast member while on her season that told her she would die at a young age. Of course with this happening it’s put a target on the spiritual communities back from those that are religious (specifically Christian’s) who chimed in to state that anyone who partakes in readings will be damned to hell as it is all demonic. That psychics are speaking to demons and are demonic. That the person who told her that she would die young put a demonic spell on her and put death on her. Bible verses fled the comments. I grew up within a Christian family and household and I can’t say it didn’t have me talking to my therapist (also spiritual) about how sometimes I feel like I’m getting bullied back into Christianity with the fear mongering of hell and damnnation or the ones who passively aggressively do the “I hope God gives you clarity …” patronizing “I care about you” speech

Can’t say I wasn’t disappointed that in the year of 2025/2026 we’re still here

The ability to read palms and cards run in my family..

I was 8 y.o. when I witnessed my aunt read my moms cards for the first time and told her when my dad would pass..

My dad was heavy on going to church every Sunday too..

Well, given the times we're living in, all that crap is very amped up. I've known readers who go back generations. I don't believe for one second they're talking to demons and it's the devil's work, etc.... I was raised Catholic and while I'm grateful that my parents raised me with something, I was also allowed to find my own way. I do believe in God. I am not a practicing Catholic and never will be. The one that always gets me is the "I'll pray for you". I literally told an old friend to fuck off with that one :).

When people enter into these kinds of agreements without seeking God’s guidance, harmful outcomes can sometimes follow. I remember a reality TV show where one of the cast members got a psychic reading. Her mother (super religious) was very upset and warned her never to do that again, but she didn’t see anything wrong with it. A few years later, the girl tragically died in a terrible accident. It really stayed with me and reinforced how important it is not to come into agreement with those kinds of messages.  I think psychic readings are accurate and have a powerful ability to manifest in your life but it all comes at a price.

I had a similar experience. A psychic once told me I wouldn’t be able to move to a certain city and that something bad would happen to my car. It was easy to believe because some of the other things they said seemed accurate. But I chose to reject that agreement, prayed about it, and trusted God instead. I was able to move, and my car has been very reliable. That experience reminded me how powerful it is to place faith in God rather than in fearful predictions.

I still break down and get readings but unlucky things happen when i do.

Then you shouldn't get readings, yeah?

I can't say that anything bad has happened to me solely because I got a reading. As far as the car part, I have had readers that tell me something bad is going to happen but if I change my actions now it could be prevented. Sometimes energies change because we subconsciously start attempting to do things to avoid the bad reading from happening because we're now paying attention to something we weren't at first.

With that being said, why be on this forum if you feel such a way about readings?
