Hi everyone, somebody asked why some members and threads/posts get deleted from this forum.
Here is why:
1. Sometimes the psychics complain about member posts and make legal threats. They don't have any legal grounds for lawsuits, but some of them make a lot of money and can afford to throw money away on attorneys. I personally think that is dumb because it's illegal to threaten people, especially when you do not have any intention of filing any claim. Secondly, the psychics on this site get a lot of free advertising, so deleting their threads and reviews only hurts themselves. There will always be good and bad reviews of any business.
2. Some posts get deleted because I remove members for creating multiple accounts and deceiving the users, so when I delete them, all of their posts get deleted as well.
3. Others get deleted because they get too many complaints from other members for trolling the forum, so I delete them and their posts.
4. Sometimes members ask to be deleted. I delete their posts when they leave.

He didn't say that. He said their posts get deleted, not the thread. The thread is deleted if the psychic makes issues about having too many bad reviews apparently.

Hmm..she had like 5 negative (and honest) reviews amidst 97% positive reviews.

That's probably irrelevant since it was the reader who requested to have the thread about them removed.

If the person that got deleted created the thread, then presumbly the whole thread would poof. This is all guessing though. Who knows what happened.

I agree she likely asked for it to be removed. I'm unsure why though. She works well for 95% of the people and shes absolutely astounding. Everyone knows that not every psychic is 100%, but she seems pretty damn close compared to most. Shes such a lovely person <3 I really respect Mattie

And Shelly's thread was deleted twice (once a couple of months ago and again last week or so). It might be her lol.

Eh. From a business point of view, I could see the logic behind it. If it could be helped, even if I were the greatest psychic in the world, I'd be terrified of an open forum talking about me at all. Look at how some users here bash and lie just to ruin someones reputation. Some lie out of spite, say hurtful things about the reader, make up stories, etc. I can fully understand why they'd want their reviews to be in a controlled environment, and I honestly dont think we can fault them for that. It's their business. It's how they make a living. Every business, somewhere along the line, gets at least a few lunatics perceiving even the best service (let's say a restaraunt), as crappy, and will look for things to hate. You see this sort of thing all the time here. Keeping reviews in a controlled environment, would be better for business, or at the very least, "safer", for the reader, than an open forum where crazy people can post whatever negative lies (for example) that they want. It sucks, but I mean, hey. Youd want your business to do well right? And even though forums can help their business (as you've seen with Mattie), even one douchebag, lying, making things up to "get back" at a reader, could ruin their entire business. You've seen it first-hand here. Maybe not ruining business completely, but pages bashing very talented and very real psychics, just because some crazy person decided to make up stories because they were salty.

I think the issue is the repetitiveness. It's totally fine to leave a review but to continually attack others for leaving a positive review is the issue. People are free to leave their opinion but then some mock and harass others who disagree. It is concerning how obsessive certain users are about readers they disagree with.

Exactly some bully and mock and harass those who don't agree. Several people have violated big time the forum rules, bullied and attacked. Others simply express their opinions.
YOU ARE THE ISSUE. LOL why don't you see that you aren't contributing ANYTHING productive. You would've been if you said your opinion and dropped it. But you don't allow others to be "free" as you like to repeat over and over. Let others be free to like a psychic you don't like. You're trying to be some sort of dictator on this site and it's really ridiculous. No psychic works for you since you won't tell any of us even one that has worked for you. Therefore, get off the forum. Stop getting readings if they don't work for you and you don't like any of them. You just seem to have a weird sick obsession with a few psychics. It's actually concerning.

You guys are 100% if people have a bad experience with a reader, I wanna know just as much as a good reading so I can make a clear judgement. Repeatedly attacking a reader and saying they're a scam with no proof just because they didn't work for you is extremely rude and derogatory towards readers.
It's also ridiculous that some people dig through comments and continuously try and pick fights with members and force their opinion. Have a civil discussion, tell your story and don't be an opinionated, arrogant, insulting or controlling person, it's not hard! :)

Amen!! I actually just want to hear honest reviews because i have tried readers who are amazing according to the reviews and pricey and have either been wrong or honestly not any better than the more affordable ones for me. So then I'm like was it just my reading because there may only be one if any negative comments in the thread. I completely appreciate all reviews.

How funny that someone called people bullies when she kept pointing out people who posted positive reviews and complain about it all the time but continuously sending private messages to get information.

For one, certain members with MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS should be removed. Keeping them around is a direct violation of the forum rules. There are threads that have been removed twice or more, Iwould be interested to know if this was upon request of the readers themselves OR if they get deleted because of the chaos created by a VERY CERTAIN MEMBER @ADMIN
Secondly I feel we are on the right track simply ignoring a specific lunatic. We get tempted because we try to prove the obvious but it falls on deaf ears. Let's just ignore ignore ignore! Einstein said it's really impossible to win an idiot because they manage to drag us to their level and win because they are simply experienced in being stupid. Besides, online shoppers are not as naive nowadays, they can make their own mind based on the credibility of the reviews. They can all understand the member is simply obsessed with certain readers.
I honestly believe if we absolutely ignore every, single thing they say, they will get bored eventually.
The problem is when newbies come along and unknowingly engage, people get so frustrated they lash out or when people interact with their less unreasonable posts. You can’t do this sadly as it just encourages the obsession.
We shouldn’t have to though. I really don’t see the logic behind deleting a whole thread because of someone’s behaviour multiple times and yet here they are still posting. I started up a new thread for one reader whose got deleted today they have started already.
@ Admin, please remove the user and block the IP address. If you can’t block it then promptly remove the new accounts that spring up when we report them. We always know when they’re back because their posts are so aggravatingly outrageous.

It’s really unfortunate that the problem is still here yet we as users of this site - whom are mostly respectful of at least the rules & each others reasonable opinions.. have had to face loss because of it.

A lot of people on this thread are the ones who I trust and would ask for further advice or opinions because of how open and honest they are, and I've had some really positive interactions. :)
I've removed myself from threads where it gets personal, accusations are made and people are forcing their opinions

Agreed. Shit gets old. If you don't like a psychic or it didn't work for you, sharing once is enough and move on. Posting multiple times a day negative things about the same people is a sickness :'(
Instead of people harping on not wanting to see the same thing over and over from the same people, use the block feature. You won't see it any more.

The issue is even if you hit ignore. Someone is bound to engage the negativity so you will still end up having to read thru the craziness. In a perfect world if we could all just let the unnecessary comments slide right off our backs this would be a more happy forum. As we all know this is far from a perfect world so we just have to trek along. I do love my ignore button thou. 😉

Fortunately, we recovered the corrupted database information, and we were able to slowly bring our site back. We apologize for the long delay, as we had limited resources available for its reinstatement.
The forum seems to be fully operational now, but do not hesitate to PM me, if you see errors, or if there is still corrupt information. We’ve updated our servers, so we will be better able to address a situation like this, if it ever presents itself again in the future.

Glad the site is back up but it was down for so long and that was the second time. The first time I encounter this was mid-year, I think. It was down the first time for about two weeks and this time was even longer. Hopefully, people will start checking back but seems kind of slow on the boards. Went down again yesterday for 24 hours.

This means they are claiming credit for someone else's work. It's illegal. If you publish someone else's work without the appropriate licence or permission you are committing copyright piracy.
The person who wrote that is a member of the discord channel. She gave permission so what are you talking about?
Please leave admin alone. I highly doubt he cares there is a discord channel. It’s not stealing reviewers. Most of us are on both and it actually is a channel to let us know when this site is back up.

Yes! I saw so many people repetitively coming back to some commenters and drilling their opinions of specific readers to the point that they act very addictive and desperate for attention because of them being told what they considered a negative response from the psychic. Then if someone made a comment on the reader , another commenter accused them of trying to have an agenda. You cant speak freely if that is allowed to happen. I really like this forum , it is a wealth of information aside from that behavior.
