Because I just got asked out on a date and accepted. Don't get excited, it's a nice guy who likes me but we live too far for much else than occasional dates. But it would just be my luck...POI's birthday is 2/12, Valentine's is 2/14, my date is 2/13. My spirit guides are still hitting the crack pipe. Lol

Maybe? I read with so many. Lol! Unfortunate ly nothing will come of it for logistics reasons and other things, but I will almost never turn down a date that includes food. We're on a friend basis so what the hell? He'll be in the area. It's a nice diversion. But crap...it would be my luck if POI resurfaces at the same time. Lmao...when it rains it pours.

I've found that usually our exes re-appear when we are having a "romantic" time with someone else or if we are talking to somebody "new".
it's like they have a radar of some sort...LOL ugh, men!

So true they really are. Also people pleasers and martyr mentality. Make great friends. Codependenc y in partnership s or problems with jealousy as in they give too much for others and their partners get jealous.

I wouldn't technically consider this a reconnect. He and I always stayed in touch. He consistentl y asks me out, but is friend zoned. I am just going out because he's in my area and he wanted a lunch date in between work meetings. It's a platonic thing as far as I'm concerned.

He's a martyr for sure. No jealousy with either of us. He was very giving, but unfortunate ly got completely side lined with an ongoing family issue he feels obligated to deal with...but is codependent for sure in that obligation. It wasn't really "us" that was the issue, if that makes sense.

Thanks both. I was well aware early on the "incompatibi lity" of our signs according to many in astrology. I'm not a big astrology fan because they tend to dump people into categories without any gray area. My POI is definitely an "avoider" or a "runner". I am definitely the one who faces things head on (to a fault sometimes). What astrology doesn't take into account is that people can and do recognize their traits and their shortcoming s. Sometimes these differences can even benefit a relationshi p because they can create balance as well as different perspective s. My POI knew I was the action oriented one. Problem? Here's the solution. Argument? Let's discuss it now instead of later. It made him uncomfortab le many times, BUT he would also come running to me when he didn't know what do to about something. He could overwhelm easily, so I was the source of reason. He could also get jealous, especially because I do have platonic friendships with men. I knew because of this insecurity in HIM, I needed to be completely transparent in everything I did. That doesn't mean I had to ask permission or not be friends with men, but I knew that he was more comfortable if he was included in the friendships and I was open about them. He is an extremely loyal person and cheating was something I never had to worry about. He learned over time that I was equally loyal. Different signs can be a struggle, but if you recognize the strengths and weaknesses of both, you can certainly work with them and even learn from them. Lord knows if I met someone just like me, the issues would probably be way bigger.

i don’t believe in compatibili ty of signs but sun signs holding similar traits sure. My ex wasn’t supposed to be compatible with me but we were. It just worked. I see plenty of non matched signs in psychic readings that work. Maybe due to rising signs?

LOL i think i'm the only one that loves them. This is common though. I hear it all the time. I like earth sign men (not virgos) and cancerians. An evolved cancer man will be one of the most ambitious manly man you'll ever come across. IF they're evolved LOL.
An evolved man of any sign would be a refreshing change for me. Lol
