My experience is that if they don't know whether we are together or not, then I write them off. That should be a red flag. Again, that's just my opinion.

I read with her in March, and she said we'd be my poi and I would be together by May. She also asked me at first if we we together, gave me no details, then said we'd be together by May. Didn't happen. Not even close. It also just didn't feel like a good reading/connection you know?
