Blocking

So I was wondering if being blocked was a common thing? I had two favorite readers that I checked in with often for updates. Eventually they told me they couldn’t help me anymore and blocked me. It’s frustrating because both were very expensive and I have spent a lot of money on them. So I get telling me you can’t help with a specific situation but why block me so that I can’t ask about another?

Hi @ANF353, I have never been blocked by a reader I was reading continuously with. I have been blocked by a reader that I read with once, which is sketchy.

It's annoying that they blocked you and that you are unable to read with them on other items, especially if they have been accurate with you. I find it sketchy when readers block paying customers unless it's a daily binge with them, or you have been rude to them on the call. I find that they usually block you when they don't feel comfortable with the predictions they gave you.

Thanks for the response! I usually spoke to both of them about once a month, maybe twice if they mentioned something more frequent in their reading. I thought it was weird, but thought too that maybe they just blocked me because things weren’t going as they predicted. I have been blocked by someone I left negative feedback for, but not someone I’ve spent so much on!

I have been blocked by people with whom I read 1 time. I shared in another post how I went back to book again when the reading was unfolding like they said it would and found I was blocked. That's just super sketch.

@Mina, funny you should say that. The first one was PsychicBff! She had sent me free minutes for an update and we were in the middle of a reading. I asked a clarification question and she just ended the chat and blocked me. The second was Guidance on Call, who did at least tell me she couldn’t help me, but didn’t give me a chance to respond.

I cringe when I see reviews saying that so & so is my best friend. It makes me sad to think there are people who believe someone giving them a reading is a friendship. Oof.

Yup super common! It can be rookie mistakes like leaving a 4 star review saying “great read will wait for predictions”

Or maybe our could be because they KNOW they ain’t that good and have guilt.
Or some will say on their profile if they feel you have addiction or depende they will block.

BUT it definitely hurts for sure when you build a relationship with a psychic … or worse THINK you have built a relationship with one.

It can be petty things like not leaving them constant raving reviews, or if they feel your holding reviews for hostage that they feel you will leave a negative review.

Or yes can figure out who you are here on this board, and yes there are psychics on here and prob with their own little discord forum, plus the basher site list (https://keenbashers.com/1720-2/) … but that hasn’t been updated much. There plenty of “their reasons there”

At least they told you… I remember with “yourpsychicbff” she was so kind and nice and gave follow up emails, encouraged me to reach out, keep her updated, turns out that meant once a month not everyday in the height of ocd panic attack. I spent like 3-4 yrs reading with her and she would often take long breaks too (this was before she was like $30 but she like friggin $7-$25 around 2016 which was a lot money!). When my ex finally met someone else she first started avoiding my chats and calls, then I pinged her, saying hey is everything ok?… and she just blocked me. I wrote her a super kind email on my other account apologizing if I offended her (ugh I was desperate) and she said she didn’t want to read with me anymore, then just blocked me. I was crushed! I think that ex is still with that person. I “THOUGHT” I had relationship with her… I do think she is still pretty good but she also had some misses and that block really left sour a note. But whatevers at least I’m not paying her close to $40 rate! - and honestly thank goodness!

The last block I had that hurt was with TasaraM and she did kinda the same thing, or would take my chat then end before 3 min marker, until she blocked me.  It felt like I was pulling teeth for information- so honestly I’m fine that she did.

Tis what it is, but I don’t feel like I’m missing much. Definitely checks my ego, but nothing is permanent.

Sorry, and my condolences but it’s best to take the loss with grace. Take what you learned and leave the rest.

I feel I’ve had this experience with someone we talked about Mina. I feel like her prediction isn’t going the way she intended timing was completely off … I feel she is telling me to have patience and discouraging frequent contact with her because she missed the mark. Her story has flip flopped. I feel either they get overwhelmed and block or they know their prediction isn’t going to manifest and there’s nothing much they can help with and they block you. I’m sure some readers get tired of saying the same thing again and again and at the end no psychic is really a “friend” - they are running a business.

Something similar happened to me. I used to talk frequently to an advisor from Bitwine who is very well-known in this forum.

During my last phone reading, she gave a beautiful prediction. Most of the things happened, but not the kind of final outcome she described. With each passing event or month, I would update her on how things were unfolding. However, I only had the chance to talk to her until May.

After that, she would disconnect from Bitwine whenever it was me trying to reach her. Even if I paid for a session, she would stay silent, never respond, and then disconnect. This became a pattern—she would love to disconnect after I had already paid. Since she’s already hard to get a hold of, there was never any compensation. At this point, I don’t know if I’m blocked, but I haven’t seen her online.

There’s also another reader on Bitwine who is famous for her timelines. Once, I was so happy about her predictions and dates that I entered the chat to tell her I was going to leave her an amazing review. She told me I couldn’t do that without having a reading first, and then she blocked me.
