Why do we dismiss the "negative outcome" predictions

I had a reader tell me someone wasn't going to return and they have technically twice. The other day I redownloaded snapchat and saw a request from him, and he also viewed my dating profile. Negative doesn't always mean right.

He contacted me on snapchat. We talked. Perhaps I should have been clearer - she said he wouldn't return and no contact again. This was a reader never mentioned on here.

Thanks alot, it wasn't the ex that I got addicted to, though. Just a guy I was talking to for a few weeks who ghosted and I was looking for answers at the time.
