Did Yona specifically say she was using lenormand?
My very first reading with Yona was a Grand Tableau email reading and her interpretation of the cards was pretty standard (especially in comparison to how she reads tarot).
Are you sure she wasn't reading the Major Arcana Star tarot card in the House position/area, which she seems to use to ascertain if something is happening in the home or regarding family?

I had the star in the house when I read with her in Nov. She said this was a blessing before the end of the year. She couldn’t elaborate on what the blessing was, but so far, I just found out my POI is dating someone new, 2 of my friends dogs died and there’s only a couple weeks left in the year. This really feels like the opposite of a blessing.

What do you mean that you have to rely on the 2nd prediction?
I had the Star in July 2023 as my first prediction. She said it was blessings, achieving goals and objectives. She said blessings and goals is what is important to you. She said there was a process going on and it was a series of events, not just one event. Also, that I would be stressed and busy and that half of me was waiting for something to happen and the other half being stressed. She also said it wouldn't happen in the summer.
The next prediction started happening in September 2024 but not the Star. She didn't say what the Star was about

I’m curious if Yona gave you a timeline for your Star prediction? She said mine came with a timeline before the end of the year, and thought the “blessing” could be a contact prediction based on my opening cards. She said she wasn’t sure though bc the cards were close together but didn’t necessarily point in that direction. I know she isn’t great with timelines but I’m curious anyway. Considering my POI is actively dating I’m not seeing that as a possibility. My second prediction was related to additional income so that I’m guessing will be a prediction I’ll wait a long time for because I don’t know what she is referring to.

Ignore her timing. Honestly, just take every reading she gives you and expect it not to transpire for a least a year. Some people get lucky, it moves faster, but just to be safe. I got a big prediction for the holidays of 2023, nothing happened. Actually, the opposite. Now it’s starting to shape up to be this year, early 2025 in reality.

Wow! That’s a long time. I guess I was just writing off her predictions completely. She gave me 3 predictions, the first was a blessing in the home (she thought it was related to a contact prediction), 2nd being the additional income, and third was “having a choice between old POI and a new guy”. I’ve read previously that the third prediction is like the kiss of death and that there isn’t actually a choice and to move on from old POI. That’s why I just assume none of it will happen at all except for maybe the second prediction. Hopefully your prediction that’s happening now is a good one! That’s always awesome to hear.
