Title: Can we stick to the subject in threads please

I just need to say that its slightly annoying when you asking for opinions on a reader and the comments go off track.  Can we just stick to what the topic is.  Also why do people feel the need to quote the entire conversation instead of maybe the specific person they are responding to.  Maybe its just me but i really silly to scroll down after the quote for just one line.

I got it so if i want to quote you it includes what your quoting unless i hit quote and remove the additional stuff.  Ughh how tedious.  Thanks for clearing that up. Looks like i normally quote someone but they haven't quoted anyone else so i never noticed how it works.
