Title: Feeling nervous, anxious before a reading

I am curious what do people think...does it affect a reading if I am anxious before and during the reading?

I am always slightly anxious when I go to a psychic, because I am afraid of what they might tell me. Usually when I feel anxiety they tell me something really positive that helps me calm down.

It's very hard for me to be calm during a reading, unless the psychic tells me something positive or validating and then I relax.

Not sure if it effects the reading hope not! but I'm the same with it  ;)

A few times this has happened to me and I was told to “relax” “take deep breaths”. I think some psychics can pick up on it.

I've usually had good readings even though I was anxious. But I wonder if I weren't anxious, would it be even better?

I'm very anxious when it comes to telephone readings which is why I've only had two. Even though both were positive, I cannot cope with the anxiety it brings. I'm more relaxed with emailing readings and online chat to a degree.

Yes, me too. For a while I didn't get phone readings and even now I rarely do. I can barely ask my question because I am so anxious.

I agree and always choose chat if I can, also some readers work better on chat not sure why that is

I get anxious about reading with someone new. I also feel anxious when waiting to connect with QOC because I never know what mood she will be in, which is why my readings with her are far and few.

I’ve found anxious, relaxed, sober, a few drinks, smoking, not smoking it doesn’t seem to matter psychics tell me the same stuff. I’ve only been a little drunk once but the psychic told me the same thing she did while I was sober. I don’t think it matters.

I'm always anxious, it's always nerve wracking to lay your heart on the line for someone.
