Mina:
The issue that comes up with these groups is intention. Some want it 12 step style, some want who has worked for them (and just ends up being trash session gossip session on ppl on keen). Ive met the author psychic junkie Sarah and she had to put out her own money thru Google groups (before she handed it to someone else, then Google groups shut down), prior to that there where yahoo groups (which psychics were pissed because many were called out by name). Many have a hard time focusing on the solution/staying in the solution and get stuck focusing on how this one particular psychic was scam- and that’s not the point, nor focus.

Many can’t even agree upon date to meet up
And then again leading a group; it is very overwhelming, I don’t even want to try but there is a need for it

I recommend a discord group, having it grow then having at least two forerunners hosting meetings 1-2 times a week

But in between then seek therapy (via work, online better help, religious affliations), other 12 step groups (SLAA sex love addicts anonymous), coda - codependency groups, gambling anonymous, even alcoholic, narcotics.

I’ve also found comfort in attachment style groups on Facebook

Best of luck, but not it

Agree with you, but it doesn't matter what various "needs" or preferences are. It's not meant to replace IRL therapy. It should be set up as a community with set ground rules-kinda like most groups on most platforms. Don't agree? Don't join. Don't abide by the rules? You'll be  gone fast. I think the importance of how the community is defined is critical :).

Fair enough if people aren’t interested they’re not interested. I do have the belief it’s good to put yourself out there. But not everyone wants to do that.

I did have a reader who would encourage me to make groups etc. and that’s stuck with me. I think initially it was a part of my life’s path but not anymore/right now .

It would be nice if there was a discord. Especially in case something happens to this site.

I’ve made a discord. Might need some help with moderating.

There was a discord previously plus a lot of drama involved and surrounding it. I am not sure if it is still around and/or active. I think a lot of people have moved on from this forum, myself included. The issue in the past was once you bounce from the forum to elsewhere, it can remove the filter of anonymity from it all. I will not ever dox others who I had met outside of here (and I hope you're all doing well and thriving in life), but some may not want to be known or see that come here. Members or lurkers.

I will tell you I will never forget one person in the group went "there is not a single one of us in this chat that connected off the forum that is unattractive. Our POI's are just stupid." That immediately made me think it's these half-ass avoidant partners we all had that leads to this addiction. There is also bad cycles of abuse that can lead to a psychic addiction, even non-violent abuse. Everyone wants answers. But only doing the work and professional health beyond psychics can lead to better things. I often tell people psychics are no different than a life coach from Instagram.

I stepped away years back to take a different course of healing for myself. Got into therapy and then joined a different online community aside from my circle IRL. This year I actually feel like I have gotten back to the healthier version of myself that existed before I ever got a single psychic reading in 2017. 2016 was my wake up year to everything. I even have the date of my "wake up" dream that knocked the rose colored glasses off my me. Ironic given 2016 was a 9 year in numerology and so is 2025. This year has felt like an uno reverse so speak for me. Only in a positive way. It's going to be an interesting year for many.
