This forum has helped me a lot. Because of this forum, I have found a few people that work for me (Kisha, Micah) and these are the only two I will contact. When I was addicted to psychics, I didn't care who and just got fed fairy tales for literal thousands of dollars, and kept going back when time frames passed etc and constantly contacted different readers. Now I spend maybe $200 a year. It's weird, but the reason I go to psychics has actually done a 180 because of this forum. I think most of us are most concerned with if an ex is coming back, at least in my case that has been the only specific question I have asked. I find it helpful for my well being when a reader I trust tells me no, he's not, and here is why, I have found it helps me  move on. Obviously would love for a reading from Kisha to be my happy fairytale ending. lol. But anyways, seeing the reviews and how many people are wrong really snapped me out of ever feeling the need to go on a binge. Sometimes, when I feel myself slipping, i just come on here and read all of the REAL reviews and people's stories over years of reading with psychics and it makes me not want to throw money away. I typically go for one general reading a year and a few specific question emails with kisha/micah. I hate being stuck in the cycle of hoping for someone to come back, and she helps me snap out of that real quick, something I have also gotten better at myself after my only real break up a few years ago (6 year relationship). Anyways, idk if that makes sense, and may not be the case for everyone, but for me it has been helpful to curb the addiction/desire to get readings.

This forum has both provoked me to call and stopped me from calling, but more times than not it has stopped me from calling. 

I have three psychics that I call and I have had very big, specific predictions that played out with these readers.  However, I will not post or write anything about them.  I don't believe they will work for others as well as they do me.  Two of them have a thread in here but have received mixed reviews.

I honestly have reigned in the reading but like to see if the ones that work for me work for others.  I also like to give my experience if I've read with someone who has not been talked abut before.  Sure helps when there are scammers to put them on blast.  At first reading the forum made me want to try the ones people we raving about but when i saw that they just weren't that good for me it help to not feel tempted anymore.

Probably not.

And this forum help people to identify scams and real ones may work for them.

For addiction I think people will be addicted no matter where they are.

This forum helped me to meet some great spiritually grown people, and I could get some guidance.

I personally agree with you(another post) we don't really need to spend on psychic about something we already know the answer deep inside.

But usually what brought people to reading is to help on anxiety insecurity etc which is something they need to work on inside, take responsibility on their own life, but not seeking outside help.

 Eventually people get there I feel...

Yes, that is the main positive I feel about this forum and others like it. You eventually get there to a place where you see readers aren’t consistent, aren’t reliable and more times than not, are not really a strong psychic. Psychics go to a mental place when they do readings and claim it’s exhausting so I feel that is one of the main reasons they aren’t consistent because they do their play on words and say generalized things, give advice or misinterpret because they don’t always stay in that mental head space. The worst part of it is, that readers don’t do this on purpose since half the time they don’t know they are doing this or even what they are doing, so it’s overly disappointing when things don’t manifest as they claim they saw. Everyone comes to terms within their own understanding of how they can get misled by psychics who claim to have their best interest at heart.
