The Sad Case of Helen

(1/1)

WinterElf:
Marie Grall-Bronnec, an addiction specialist at Nantes University Hospital in France and the lead author on the case study, writes that Helen “was hoping that the fortune tellers could answer her obsessive doubts: Does he really love me? How long will our relationship last? and after their breakup: Will he come back?”

Sounds familiar guys? I always asked the same questions too in the same order lol  Some psychics would say that it was me as if something is wrong with me.  I agree that it is nerves but you know what... i have met people who are worse conditions and are in good relationships but laugh at the idea of consulting a psychic and refuse to do so because they dont believe in chasing love and they get what they usually want.
Helen's story is very similar to some of the people on this board.  Is it pure coincidence? ???

I have an ex teacher who was arrested twice for molesting her students and abandoned her family and I check her social media one day and see her so happy in love with this gorgeous man who treats her like a QUEEN... I know of a 400 pound woman who doesnt put much effort into herself  who has a very handsome husband and enjoys life yet i have had psychics tell me that I need to do this and this to attract love in my life.  I followed their advice even when it was NEGATIVE NEWS.  And I only got pain in the end.
Someone said that addicts ignore the negative ones.  I don't and even if i might get upset and angry.... I follow their advice and it only made things worse.  I actually listened to the negative ones way more than the sugarcoaters.
So is it really true what the psychics say about working on ourselves or is it that love will not come to people who are trying to control it through psychic readings.

The link takes you to the sad story of a woman by the name of Helen who was addicted to psychic readings.  None of her relationships flourished and things got worse after her marriage at 37.  Despite all the psychics she consulted with online and by phone, she lost her marriage and fell into debt from the constant worrying and the high cost of readings.

Her story sounds similar to mine in that I was addicted since 20.  Hardly any of my relationships flourished during my psychic addictions, increased bad luck with love, isolation, and debt. I am sure Helen went to tons of talented psychics.  Some really do want to help but these readings are not letting us get on with life and really live.

No one knows what happened to Helen but I assume she is still calling psychics from somewhere in France...

One thing that annoys me and I SWEAR TO GOD... FOR 20 YEARS... EVEN THE REALLY TALENTED ONES WHO COULD TELL ME WHAT MY NEXT JOB WOULD BE LIKE ETC... .ALWAYS SAID... HE IS NOT THE ONE...  THE ONE FOR YOU IS TALL/WELL BUILT AND HAS MONEY AND YOU WILL MEET HIM SOON.

I HAVE BEEN HEARING THIS FOR 20 YEARS... 20 YEARS OF THEM ALWAYS SAYING , HE IS NOT THE ONE.  YOUR GUY IS COMING IN AFTER HIM.  anyone else?

thank you. i just want to get the word out.

Here is another link of an actress who was addicted to psychics.  Her career improved after not  calling them but when she said that she was addicted to them, her friends laughed at her because many see psychic addiction as something strange and not a real addiction.  She started a group online for psychic addicts in 2006 but the website is no longer up.
