Metaphysical, Spiritual and Psychic Discussions > Psychic Readings That Came True
Negative Engery, Lurking or thinking alot about Predictions?
LivingInYellow:
I recently came across the saying: 'your ships come in over a don't-care sea' ... Meaning, when you're no longer bothered with something, that's when it's likely to manifest.
I've found this to be true most of the time. For example, if I go to a job interview and think I've done badly and write the opportunity off, it's often the case that I get the job or something rather miraculous happens.
The issue with obsessing about an ex, is that time seems to move more slowly because you're so fixated on movement and when you can't see things changing, it feels like nothing is happening and then you get frustrated. The cycle repeats - the more you watch for change, the longer it seems to take and/or the more fruitless action you may take.
With that said, it's easy for people who have been through the worst of a break up and come out of the other side, to say that a person should move on and get on with their life; but when you're in that moment AND it's your situation: You watch... You wait... You watch... You wait. I can totally relate to that.
However, there will come a time when life forces you to stop thinking so much and to be present in your own affairs - whether that's due to depression, financial issues (after blowing money on readings) or meeting someone new. You will be forced to not think so much because it's more harmful than helpful and it's preventing you from moving forward. But as previously mentioned, that seems to be a part of all of our journeys - but how quickly each person gets to this place of enlightenment varies because all of our journeys are personal.
At the end of the day, what is for you will never miss you; and if it misses you... It was never for you. It's taken me YEARS to really understand that and accept it as being my truth.

This is golden, just beautifully put LivinginYellow 👏🙏👣
And yes, time the ultimate authority that we can't dictate, no matter how much we want something nowww, time will reveal it on its own accord and we're forced to have patience, we're forced to accept, we're forced move forward because time waits on no one, we're forced to learn lessons and grow and face things we absolutely don't want face 😔 but you're right, what is truly meant to be will be, the universe will ensure that, just not according to our exact desired timing....sighhh
