At the end of the day, we need someone to talk to. Even if you're lucky enough to have friends/family who are willing to listen, there's only so much they can do.

They don't want to hear the same things over and over (until you've gotten over it).

This is why I don't really have any problem with myself or people calling readers. But even then it's hard to find a reader who has good insights and whom you feel comfortable talking to.
