There is no one size fits all. Really there isn't. I haven't talked to a guy in like three years and he came up in a recent reading.
I thought of him on occassion of what could have been, but we are not linked by facebook or anything and we don't text each other. We were never in a relationship, just coworkers toying with the idea. It's actually been almost four years now since I left that job so your connection theory isn't true for me.
