However, I'm still reserving judgement on her overall predictions. Granted, I didn't call about anything life changing - I'm not waiting on a new job or an ex to come back or anything like that. Things HAVE Been a roller coaster for me and as generic as that might seem, it did fit my situation.
As far as karmic connections, I've done research on this - part of a western religions class a long time ago - and I'm of the belief that many of our relationships are karmic in nature. Sometimes its good karma, sometimes its bad karma. But that's MY personal belief, not necessarily right or wrong. I can say I've learned the most from some of my worst relationships, romantic, friendship, or otherwise.
Joeana did make some very specific statements such as calling out what I do for a living and what hobby I enjoy. She also made some specific predictions, none of which will be majorly life changing if they do or don't happen.
I've made a real effort lately to truly TRULY trust my own intuition, listen to my inner guidance and that has been tremendous for me. I set aside 30 minutes a day that's solely devoted to being still and just listening to what God has to say to me. I've gotten more answers and more guidance doing that than through any phone call I've made to a reader. Again, this is MY belief system.
I will say this - if you ask for a sign, you'll get it. I could list countless examples of the times I've said 'if I'm on the right path, please show me...' and received something that told me yes, you're right. Sometimes I let the sign be presented to me however it wants to be. Other times I get specific in what I'm asking for. Just last night, after a vivid dream the night before and some time to think and process it, I prayed that if I were in the right path in this situation, show me 'this name' on 'this place.'
Lo and behold, within an hour, I happened to see the name I'd asked for in the place I'd asked for. You can't convince me that that's random.
I'm rambling, but I guess I'm just trying to say at the end of the day, trust yourself first and foremost. While Joeana or Kisha or Sapphire or whoever may be right or they may be wrong, you can trust yourself first.

@Sarahkw
I read your post yesterday and thought ok - I am going to ask for a sign also. I was laying on my bed just asking the universe for a sign that I was on the right path.
Last night I was watching tv in my bedroom and I kept hearing something in my bathroom. At first I thought it was my cat (he sometimes tries to get into the cabinet doors).
I walked into the bathroom and there was a red bird hitting the glass.
We have a lot of windows in our house and I have seen this happen with robins before - but during the day.
I have never seen a bird do this at night - not EVER. It was very strange to say the least.
Thoughts anybody?
Thanks

i would first ask you - does a red bird mean anything to YOU? take this situation out of the equation completely.
does it remind you of a time in your life, a place, a movie, etc? any connection whatsoever to a red bird?

Thanks truth:
I am thinking about this. I think they are beautiful birds and they always catch my attention. But I have to say, I don't have any significant connection to any bird in particular.
I just thought it was so strange. In all of the years I have lived in this house, I have never had that happen before. He would peck on the glass and then sit on the ledge.
Like I said, I have had robins fly into the glass (always in the front of the house).
I have asked again for a sign. Because if that was one - I am confused. Lol.
Truth:
heh. i agree. confusing sign, especially if you don't have any sort of connection to it.
i know dreams are like that - our subconscious will pull people/things up in our dreams that REPRESENT something else. but it's up to us to realize what those things represent.
for instance.. 2 people dream about teeth. let's say they are falling out or breaking.
Person A views teeth as VERY important. they have gotten braces, get their teeth whitened. it's the first thing they notice about someone.
Person B doesn't really think about teeth ever. they are functional, help you chew, necessary.
now, if Person A had this dream, it may mean they feel unattractive, or maybe like they aren't making a good impression on people.
with Person B, it may mean they aren't performing some necessary task well, or maybe something is breaking down to allow them to get something done.
the bird could have just been a wake-up call that you are on the right path by asking for signs.
here's another thought - what were you doing, thinking, watching when the bird came? did anything else catch you attention when the bird was making the noises? clearly it was getting your attention. maybe the Universe at that moment was like "heads up, this is important"

@Wishful,
I think YOU are really the only person who would know for sure if the bird is a sign for you. In my family, we always see cardinals after loved ones pass away. For instance, my stepgradfather died on Christmas Eve and the day of his funeral, my mom and stepdad were woke up by a cardinal tapping on their window. After my Papa died over the summer, three cardinals sat in the dogwood tree outside my Granny's living room from the day he passed until his funeral - we think they were my papa and his two brothers.
I've learned when I don't ask for a specific sign, I get one that *I* understand and can't be mistaken. But then I also like to ask for specific signs from time to time too.
